      <image:title>Body Image - Body Image</image:title>
<image:caption>The belief that our worth is tied to our appearance or health can be deeply damaging. Many of us are taught that being “unhealthy” or having a body type outside of the “norm” is a personal failure. In reality, the myth of “good”/”bad” foods, perfectionism, and fatphobia are rooted in racism, ableism, and white supremacy and have been tools of oppression for generations. Common responses to this form of oppression include shame, anxiety, depression, difficult relationships with food and eating, social isolation, and low sense of self-worth. In our sessions, we can explore the effects of cultural, societal, and familial messages around body image and work towards embodying self-love and self-acceptance.</image:caption>

      <image:title>LGBTQIA+ and Nonbinary Identity - LGBTQIA+ and Nonbinary Identity</image:title>
<image:caption>For many LGBTQIA+ and nonbinary individuals, identity is shaped by navigating families, communities, and systems that may not have fully seen, understood, or supported you. The strategies you developed to stay safe, loved, and accepted can become sources of conflict, exhaustion, or disconnection in adulthood. I am interested in understanding the unique path you’ve walked and exploring what you need now to feel grounded, affirmed, and whole. I work with LGBTQIA+ clients to move through internalized shame, strengthen self-acceptance, deepen identity exploration, and build relationships that honor authenticity and care. I also support adults who are questioning or discovering their sexuality or gender later in life. As someone who came into my bisexual identity in adulthood, I understand the complexity, confusion, and liberation that can arise in this process. Together, we can explore your sense of self with curiosity and compassion.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Trauma - Trauma</image:title>
<image:caption>Trauma isn’t always easy to identify. Sometimes we can trace emotional distress back to a specific, notable event and sometimes it is caused by repeated exposure to less obvious events that were significant threats to our safety and wellbeing. I view trauma through a social justice lens. For many POC, LGBTQIA+, and other marginalized individuals, fear and worry of violence and injustice is real. I work somatically to uncover the impacts of current, historical, and intergenerational trauma that may be stored in your body but that you might not have the words to describe. As a survivor of sexual and relational trauma myself, I understand how deeply these events can shape the way you move through the world. These experiences can leave emotional and physical imprints that affect your sense of safety, trust, boundaries, intimacy, and your relationship with yourself. I believe survivors and I know that the effects of trauma can be reduced by being witnessed, heard, seen, and believed. Using somatic techniques, we can explore how your nervous system has protected you, gently release patterns rooted in survival, and rebuild a sense of safety and connection within yourself.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Eating Disorders - Eating Disorders</image:title>
<image:caption>Complicated relationships with food don’t come out of nowhere—they are shaped by the systems and stories we grow up inside of. Systemic white supremacy and colonization have long dictated what bodies are deemed “acceptable,” and those messages are reinforced in media, healthcare, and everyday interactions. Families can also pass down beliefs about food, weight, and worth that were shaped by their own experiences of oppression, scarcity, or trauma. All of this can create painful disconnection from ourselves and our bodies. These forces often lead to guilt, shame, and rigid expectations that overshadow our ability to live in alignment with our true selves. I am committed to walking this path with you—exploring how behaviors like restricting, bingeing, or purging developed as coping strategies in response to harm, pressure, or survival needs. Together, we’ll work toward dismantling these internalized systems and cultivating a more compassionate, liberated, and nourishing relationship with food and with yourself.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Culture - Culture</image:title>
<image:caption>Our sense of self is shaped by the culture we live in. Sometimes certain cultural norms or expectations cease to serve us and there can be a tension between the culture we grew up, our family’s culture, and/or our changing identities. People living in the US are impacted by the current social and political climate as well as a history of colonialism and systems of white supremacy. These factors can have a significant effect on our mental health and overall well-being. Common topics of exploration are: racial inequality and systemic racism, systemic sexism and misogyny, political and social inequality for LGBTQIA+ and gender fluid/non-binary individuals, immigrant experiences, inequitable health care, poverty and homelessness, mass shootings and acts of domestic terrorism, and environmental stress. Together, we will explore the emotional impact of these factors on your psyche and combat feelings of helplessness..</image:caption>

      <image:title>Career Anxiety - Career Anxiety</image:title>
<image:caption>Changes and challenges in career development are more common than ever. Cultural expectations, capitalism, and family narratives can sometimes create pressure to define your worth through productivity or achievement. When external forces outside your control impact your work or sense of direction, it’s completely understandable to experience anxiety, depression, shame, or even existential questions. I’m interested in helping you explore your relationship to your career—how it was shaped, what it means to you now, and what you want it to become. I am interested in guiding you through the process of exploring your relationship to your career. Together, we will work towards cultivating inspiration and motivation while strengthening your sense of self.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Artists and Creatives - Artists and Creatives</image:title>
<image:caption>I love working with artists and creatives who move through the world with curiosity, sensitivity, and a deep desire to express themselves. Creative people often navigate unique challenges—perfectionism, self-doubt, burnout, identity exploration, and the emotional weight of turning inner experience into outward expression. Your art can be joyful and liberating, but it can also become tangled with pressure, criticism, or old narratives about worth and productivity. In our work together, I create space for both your creative spirit and your human complexity. I integrate Expressive Arts Therapy, inviting movement, imagery, sound, storytelling, and other creative modalities to help you access deeper layers of insight and healing. These approaches support you in exploring your emotional landscape, unlocking stuck places, reconnecting with play, and finding new ways to express what feels difficult to articulate.</image:caption>
