What is psychotherapy and why is it useful?

Psychotherapy is a method of self exploration guided by a therapist who can help you find peace and actualize a more fulfilling life. Therapy can be useful in managing emotional distress or in developing a better relationship with self and others by exploring your authentic needs and fostering self-acceptance. Many people develop patterns of behavior that are no longer serving them because they have lost touch with their basic needs and feelings. Together we will explore the origin of these patterns and what they were protecting you from. I create a genuine, safe, and non-judgemental therapeutic relationship to allow space for the development of patterns that better serve your true self.
