About Me
My pronouns are she/her. I am a queer, cisgender woman, and my lived experience informs the care, attunement, and authenticity I bring into the therapy room. I hold a deep respect for the ways identity, culture, and larger systems shape our inner worlds and the ways we move through life.
I view much of our emotional distress as a meaningful response to the environments and relationships we’ve been shaped by—not as a personal failure. In our work together, we can explore how societal, relational, and family dynamics have impacted your sense of self, while creating space for the full range of your emotional experience. My goal is to offer a grounded, nonjudgmental space where every part of you can be understood with curiosity and care.
Background and Education
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (#135428). I graduated from Pepperdine University with a Masters in Clinical Psychology, emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. I received my psychotherapy training at The Women's Clinic and Family Counseling Center where I supported individuals one-on-one with experiences of depression, anxiety, life transitions, and the effects of trauma. I also have a background in sexual assault prevention education. I worked as a High School Instructor for the Prevention and Education Department at the UCLA Santa Monica Rape Treatment Center where I educated high school students across Los Angeles on the topic of sexual assault, the components of consent, and the impact of rape culture. I empowered students to intervene as bystanders to prevent sexual assault and harassment, end rape culture, and support survivors.
Approach
My approach is rooted in understanding the full context of who you are. We’ll explore the experiences that shaped you—within your family, your community, your culture, and the larger systems you’ve moved through. I move at your pace, pausing to reflect together on what feels supportive, what doesn’t, and what you need at this point in your life.
I tailor each session to your unique identity, history, and goals, drawing from Psychodynamic, Relational, Family Systems, Somatic, Mindfulness, Expressive Arts, and Attachment Theory approaches to offer interventions that genuinely fit you.
