About Me

My pronouns are she/her. I am a bisexual/queer, white, cisgender woman, and my lived experience shapes the care and authenticity I bring into the therapy room. I believe it’s important for therapists to stay aware of how culture, identity, and larger systems influence our sense of self and the ways we move through the world.

I firmly believe that much of our emotional distress is a natural response to inequality and oppression—not a personal failing. You are not sick or broken; our society is. I am committed to challenging the systems that harm the wellbeing of marginalized communities, both inside and outside the therapy room. I welcome conversations about how societal, relational, and family dynamics impact your mind, body, and spirit, and I offer a space where grief, anger, rage, fear, sadness, and every part of your experience can be voiced, honored, and understood.

Background and Education

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (#135428). I graduated from Pepperdine University with a Masters in Clinical Psychology, emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. I received my psychotherapy training at The Women's Clinic and Family Counseling Center where I supported individuals one-on-one with experiences of depression, anxiety, life transitions, and the effects of trauma. I also have a background in sexual assault prevention education. I worked as a High School Instructor for the Prevention and Education Department at the UCLA Santa Monica Rape Treatment Center where I educated high school students across Los Angeles on the topic of sexual assault, the components of consent, and the impact of rape culture. I empowered students to intervene as bystanders to prevent sexual assault and harassment, end rape culture, and support survivors.

Approach

My approach is rooted in understanding the full context of who you are. We’ll explore the experiences that shaped you—within your family, your community, your culture, and the larger systems you’ve moved through. I move at your pace, pausing to reflect together on what feels supportive, what doesn’t, and what you need at this point in your life.

I tailor each session to your unique identity, history, and goals, drawing from Psychodynamic, Relational, Family Systems, Somatic, Mindfulness, Expressive Arts, and Attachment Theory approaches to offer interventions that genuinely fit you.
